Stage One
Pistol-Static Training
Stage Description: The student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are presented with foundational pistol skills restricted to basic tactical movements. Students move on from Phase 1 by successfully completing the Stage One test in order to progress to Phase 2.
- 1-A (Simulator/Classroom): Magazine changes/malfunction clearing/tactical communications
- 1-B (LIVE fire): 4-stage draw stroke/marksmanship/basic moving and shooting
- 1-C (LIVE fire): Draw stroke/conceal-carry techniques (draw simulator)/Qualification Intro
Stage Two
Pistol-Dynamic Movement
Stage Description: Student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are instructed in progressive pistol skills followed by Entry Training with pistol for instruction on tactical movements. Students move on from Stage Two by successfully completing the Stage Two test in order to progress to Stage Three.
- 2-A (Classroom): Movement with firearm/Strikes/Movement around people
- 2-B (LIVE): Flashlight techniques/Draw with light/Entry live fire
- 2-C (LIVE): Live fire reloading and movement
Stage Three
Rifle & Pistol Dynamic Movement
Stage Description: Student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are instructed in progressive rifle and pistol skills followed by Entry Training with rifle/pistol for instruction on tactical movements. Students move on from Phase 3 by successfully completing the Stage Three test.
- 3-A (Classroom): Rifle manipulation/Magazine changes/Malfunction clearing
- 3-B (LIVE): Rifle manipulation/Magazine changes/Transitions to pistol
- 3-C (LIVE): Rifle with flashlight/Rifle entry/Shooting positions
