Stage One: Static Pistol Training

Stage Description: The student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are presented with foundational pistol skills restricted to basic tactical movements. Students move on from Phase 1 by successfully completing the Stage One test in order to progress to Phase 2.

  • 1-A (Simulator/Classroom): Magazine changes/malfunction clearing/tactical communications
  • 1-B (LIVE fire): 4-stage draw stroke/marksmanship/basic moving and shooting
  • 1-C (LIVE fire): Draw stroke/conceal-carry techniques (draw simulator)/Qualification Intro

Stage Two: Dynamic Pistol Movement

Stage Description: The student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are instructed in progressive pistol skills followed by Entry Training with a pistol for instruction on tactical movements. Students move on from Stage Two by successfully completing the Stage Two test in order to progress to Stage Three.

  • 2-A (Classroom): Movement with firearm/Strikes/Movement around people
  • 2-B (LIVE): Flashlight techniques/Draw with light/Entry live fire
  • 2-C (LIVE): Live fire reloading and movement

Stage Three: Rifle & Pistol Dynamic Movement

Stage Description: The student will progress at their own pace through the A, B, C classes (in order) where they are instructed in progressive rifle and pistol skills followed by Entry Training with rifle/pistol for instruction on tactical movements. Students move on from Phase 3 by successfully completing the Stage Three test.

  • 3-A (Classroom): Rifle manipulation/Magazine changes/Malfunction clearing
  • 3-B (LIVE): Rifle manipulation/Magazine changes/Transitions to pistol
  • 3-C (LIVE): Rifle with flashlight/Rifle entry/Shooting positions
