The Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion 4.25″ -.45ACP Carry is a highly advanced semi-auto pistol based on the Browning-designed M1911 single-action, recoil-operated military sidearm. The Sig Sauer Scorpion features an FDE PVD coated stainless steel slide and frame. The frame features an integral 3-lug Picatinny rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. Low-profile, SIGLITE night sights, dovetailed into the slide, provide rapid sight acquisition in any light, with minimal interference when drawing or re-holstering the weapon. The Sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion 4.25″ -.45ACP is a fastback style Sig 1911. The hammer recesses into the beavertail grip safety to protect it when carrying the weapon cocked with the ambidextrous, thumb safety engaged. A pronounced memory bump on the grip safety provides reliable engagement and a consistent hold for greater accuracy. A finely checkered front strap, a textured G10 mainspring housing, and Hogue G10 Piranha Magwell grips provide a secure, nonslip hold under any conditions. The Magwell grips also serve as a funnel for rapid reloading. Front and rear cocking serrations enhance reliability when loading or clearing the weapon.
