Running Alone
While running alone may be exhilarating, it may also make you a target to any potential attackers. Always be aware of your surroundings—avoid turning the volume of your headphones up too loudly, checking your phone, or doing anything else that may indicate to another person that you aren’t paying attention. Oftentimes attackers choose to take advantage of ‘easier’ targets that seem distracted or unaware. Pay attention, and give them hell!
Time of Day
Women in the 21st century are busy ladies. We are working to keep a home, raise a family, and advance our careers. It’s understandable that you may not have time during the day to fit in your workout. If you must workout at night, aim for a well-lit area or even choose to go to a gym or a fitness class with other people.
Feel Prepared
