Support Donna Ambro’s Brave Battle
Donna Ambro has been a teacher and servant for the Lord for over 30 years. She worked with her late husband John Ambro in youth ministry and has worked at Summit Christian Academy teaching 7th and 8th grade science for the past 8 years.
In 2011, she was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent surgery and radiation to eventually be put into remission. In 2013, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and again fought a courageous battle and was believed to be in remission in July of 2015.
In November 2015 she went into the KU Cancer Center for a routine blood draw that turned into 4 bone marrow biopsies, 7 weeks of chemotherapy and a week stay in the hospital, finally resulting in a diagnosis of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). MDS is a blood-related medical condition that causes ineffective production of all blood cells. She will be receiving further medication and chemotherapy to prepare her for a bone marrow transplant, which will happen as soon as she and the donor are able to give and receive the bone marrow.
To support Donna and help relieve the burden of her medical expenses, Frontier Justice is proud to raffle off an Ed Brown 38 Super in her honor.
