The Pistol Skills I class is a great place to start for those looking for firearms training for beginners. 

Objective: To introduce the new shooter to the basics of handguns including function, ammunition selection, care, and the fundamentals of shooting. The student should feel comfortable with the basic function of the firearm and taking it to the range for practice. 

Class Description: Pistol Skills 1 will take you through all of the basics of being a new shooter. 75% classroom instruction and 25% range time.

This is a live-fire course where students will shoot between 50–100 rounds. There will be .22 caliber pistols available for rent for a $15 fee (firearm ammunition is extra). Participants may use a higher caliber if preferred, but rental fee and ammo will be an additional expense. We recommend students bring their own firearm so they can become familiar with the firearm they will be using.
