Youth Summer Activities at Frontier Justice
This Summer, join us at Frontier Justice for our offerings of incredible youth summer activities! From our Second Annual Scholarship contest to our Youth Leagues and First Shots for Parents and Kids course, we have everything you need to safely introduce your child to the world of firearms! We look forward to making great memories with you and your child this Summer, so be sure to read on and find out how to get involved!
Youth Summer Activities: Youth League
Beginning in early June we will be hosting our Youth Shooting League! For just $40 per child (plus ammunition) your child will have the opportunity to compete in a fun and engaging tournament this Summer!
Our league is broken into age-appropriate competitive groups and only requires 20 rounds per shoot, with 100 rounds fired throughout the course of the league. For this league, we do recommend that your child has had previous training with a firearm, such as our First Shots for Parents and Kids course or a Hunter’s education class attendance. A parent or guardian must be always present during the league.
The league will take place throughout the entire month of June, giving your child the opportunity to enjoy competitive shooting four times! To best enjoy the shooting sports with your child this summer, we can’t recommend our youth summer activities enough!
The Age Groups are as follows:
- 8-9
- 10-11
- 12-14
- 15-16

Proud to be An American: Essay Scholarship Contest
We are proud to give scholarships to graduating seniors! Step one—write an essay on why you are proud to be an American. $10,000 in total scholarship dollars will be awarded through this youth summer activity! Essay submissions are due by June 1, 2022. Ten non-ranked winners will be announced right here online and through our Facebook page no later than June 15. On August 6th, the selected ten will compete in a youth shooting tournament held on August 6.
Scholarship Prizes:
- 1st Place – $5,000 scholarship
- 2nd Place – $3,000 scholarship
- 3rd Place – $1,000 scholarship
- 4th -10th Place – $50 Frontier Justice Gift Card
For more information regarding the essay and shooting tournament, check out the flyer below! Be sure to share it with your favorite graduate to give them the opportunity to help pay for their higher education, whether it’s college, junior college, or any other trade/vocational school that affords them a career of choice at completion.
Youth Summer Shoot at Frontier Justice
During the scholarship contest’s shooting tournament on August 6th, we will also be hosting our Annual Youth Shoot competition! This tournament will be broken into the same age groups as stated in the June Youth League and will be a one day only tournament for youth! Utilizing our dynamic target retrieval systems, and a fun, child appropriate target, your child will have the opportunity to shoot 25 rounds and compete against their peers! Registration will be online, and to posted later this Summer – so be on the lookout and be sure to sign up! As with our other shoots, any child will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the shoot.
