The Protector Introductory Course is a 2-hour introduction to the skills, tactics, and mindset necessary to excel in the Protector Program.  The Protector Program is a training continuum individuals who recognize the necessity in our world and society to be capable of defending their own and their family’s safety in the most effective way possible. It's important to note that this program is not a traditional firearms self-defense course. Instead, it is designed to inspire a passion and interest in the pursuit of self-defense knowledge, a safety-conscious perspective of the physical world, and a fundamental belief in the preservation of one’s life and the lives of loved ones. Individuals that attend and pass the Introductory course will have the opportunity to begin the program.        Qualification Standards: Our program includes qualification standards to assess and measure your proficiency in firearm handling and self-defense techniques. These standards serve as benchmarks for your progress and development and must be achieved prior to progressing into the next phase of the training program.     Course Details: 
  1. Identifies the program training goals and root of our teaching philosophies.
  2. Defensive/ Protection oriented training mindset perspective.
  3. Universal safety rules of interaction and Safe firearm Handling.
  4. Range etiquette and facility rules.
  5. Firearm Operational review (loading, unloading procedures while on range)
  6. Live fire fundamentals assessment and coaching
  7. Target analysis/ shooter diagnosis.
  8. Holster fundamentals.
 

Required Equipment:

  • Personal Firearm
  • Inside or Outside the Waistband Holster on a belt (must be able to reholster one-handed without holding the holster open)
  • 100 – 150 rounds of brass-cased ammunition*
  • Minimum of 2 magazines
  • Eye and Ear Protection*

*Available for purchase day of class

Recommended Optional Equipment:

  • Notebook and pen to take notes
  • Magazine carrier/holster/pouch
