The Blessing of Giving Back

Frontier Justice has been incredibly blessed the past several years. These blessings have allowed us to give back to our communities in so many ways, and 2022 has been no different. A heartfelt thank you to all of you, our friends, neighbors, and clients. Your support has allowed us to truly embrace the blessing of giving back this year.

Here are some of the ways your support reached our communities.

Scholarships for high school seniors: Once again Frontier Justice awarded scholarships to three well-deserving high school seniors to use at the college or trade program of their choosing.  The Proud to be an American Youth Scholarship Contest was held over the summer. Youth were required to write and submit an essay on why they are proud to be an American. The essays were read by a committee that selected the top 10 who then participated in a shoot-off to determine the winners. It was incredibly close this year with the second and third-place winners being determined by the number of bullseyes they shot!

Patriot Feature: Frontier Justice is proud to be a sponsor of the Patriot Features organization. Patriot Features is a non-profit organization that honors veterans of America’s conflicts with a professionally produced, short documentary of their service story. The finished product is a 10–12-minute compelling documentary that links current and future generations to the veteran. Every documentary is a gift at no charge to the veteran and their family. The 2022 featured patriot was WWII veteran Charles Staubus.

Teacher Appreciation/National Train a Teacher Day: Frontier Justice is proud to support the teachers and staff that help educate our most valuable resource; our area youth. We participated in National Train a Teacher Day for the first time on June 18th. Educators from communities near our stores were offered the opportunity to attend our Safe Without a Firearm class for free and get a discount on any additional training. We had a second event in September, separate from the National event, as a thank-you for those who could not attend during the summer. We look forward to continuing to share our knowledge with those who are such an important part of our youth’s lives.

Annual Veteran’s Freedom Shoot: The Annual Veteran’s Freedom Shoot is our favorite event of the year! This year we had over 200 of our brave men and women sign up to participate, our highest number yet. This event is meant as just a small thank you to those who served by inviting them to shoot in a free tournament for some amazing prizes! We appreciate our sponsors who made this event possible, including Smith & Wesson, Mossberg, Beretta, Hornady, and Luminox.

There are many ways we try to give back every day, besides these special events, and we couldn’t do it without each of you. On this Giving Tuesday, we encourage you to do what you can to support the ideals of Faith, Family, and Freedom along with us. Here’s to seeing where 2023 takes us!
